Greetings this fine Friday!
What do you get when you combine an original Floridian with Texas heat?
~The same thing…a soggy Floridian!
Hey now! Watch those eyerolls! Haha!
Okay, okay. What am I talking about for real?
Well, I went for an oil change today and asked for a quote on the condenser/compressor A/C setup for my 2014 VW Jetta. The quote? An arm, a leg, probably an ear too. At least to me at the moment. Oh man I’m feeling it with the jokes!
No, in all honesty, the quote came out to about $1,502 and a second quote I received was about $1,492 (no Columbus sailing though).
At the current moments after my bills were paid on the 1st of August, I am nowhere close to that spot to be able to afford the fix to my car’s A/C. In years past, I would have freaked out and been sullen, upset, and all the feels, but with what I have walked out the last few years with God, I am content. I rest in Him! I know He sustains me, provides for me, and will continue to take care of me.
So today’s poem became a realization of a miracle on the way and a prayer for such to occur for His glory, His name to be praised for no matter how it occurs I will declare all the glory and praise to Him! He deserves it.
The Setup for a Miracle Condenser, Compressor, Holy Spirit Espresso, The setup for a miracle To have the windows down In Texas Heat, Minus the Habanero, A spicy trivial complex To deal with the sweat In hopes of Holy intervention~ Fifteen hundred to four thousand, A fix in need to occur, Yet my prayer stands resolute, “Father, all of me belongs to you, Even the car you blessed me with, So I hand it to you And ask for the release Of your breath to fix the A/C, In the way you desire To give yourself the greatest Glory, All in the name above every name, Jesus Christ! Amen.” ~Selah~ ~By: A.J. Wagoner ©️2025
What areas of your life need a miracle? Where do you need Him to show up? Have you asked Him? Have you declared it to be so?
Much can happen with/through prayer. I’ve seen so many things happen that defy logic and the ‘rules’ of this planet, but nonetheless always point to God showing up, even when faith struggles to breathe.
May His face and smile shine upon you today and this weekend! May you have wondrous new encounters that defy all logic!
Blessings!
**My, I mean God’s, beautiful car!
Thank you for reading!
Please note: I may setup a GiveSendGo to help me with some current expenses, but have not figured that out yet. I believe God will show up one way or another!
