'Sit and Stare'
At the sunrise and the sunset
Good morning!
Yes, you are correct! I am still in Florida with my daughter. We head back soon.
Today’s post again comes from the Tuesday night writing session the week before we left for Florida.
The world can be filled with chaos and negativity from wars and rumors of wars to news and propaganda to the brokenness of people and their cries for rescue.
It can deafen the heart and the soul at times. Even drown out the hope and love we have access to if we are not careful.
Regardless of all of that God’s creation can help us refocus on Him and on ourselves to get a barometer of where we are at in that moment.
So whether we ground ourselves in the grass or the sand of the beach or we walk amongst the trees or even sit and stare at a sunrise/sunset, we can find ourselves in a space to slow down and recalibrate to Heaven’s frequency.
Sit and Stare
Pinpoint the pin drops
of beats and vibes
one could never design
for the whistle
of the whippoorwill
echoes through the soul~
Misty meadows,
flowers bloom
ever more the Beauty
of Earth we forget
and maybe more
need to sit and stare
at the sunrise
and/or the sunset
to rest awhile in peace.
